ruled has tables with a grey header row and 48px horizontal lines, a grey rule above headings, and timelines with dots and lines. boxed wraps a zebra-striped table in an outer box and puts every timeline item in its own box. open drops the header fill and vertical lines (only a dark underline remains), uses bigger headings, and splits the timeline into "period | content" columns on wide screens.
Timelines, tables, quotes, checklists and the care guide all share the same voice. Table-heavy posts read well in ruled or boxed; long text posts feel roomier in open. The differences among the three are concentrated in tables, timelines and headings.
